Eco Audit
Our Eco Audit is an Investment Grade audit on Resource Efficiency, with focus on ENERGY | WATER| WASTE | CONSUMABLES
Eco Audit quantifies the Present GHG emissions under Scope 1, 2 , 3
The Eco Audit helps determine the data points needed for real time monitoring and validation for GHG emission.
Our Eco Audit is an Investment Grade audit on Resource Efficiency, with focus on energy, water, waste and consumables.
Objectives of an Eco Audit
1
Recommend efficiency and management measures to help reduce the energy & water consumption, reduce consumables, waste generation and repurpose and recover energy from waste.
2
Determine the data points needed for the real time monitoring and validation of GHG emission
3
Provide a detailed Investment & ROI assessment on the recommendations
4
Provide Social & Ecological benefits estimated to be derived from implementing the recommendations
5
Benchmark the present Environmental Impact and GHG emissions due to the on-going Operations of the Entity and the estimated reduction due to the recommendations.
6
All recommendations are subject to commercial viability and with attractive ROIs. An Eco Audit will also establish the need for a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and Material Flow Cost Accounting (MFCA). An LCA will further lead towards Environmental Product Declaration, which will be soon mandated as a statutory requirement.
What Is Carbon Footprint Assessment
Conducting a comprehensive analysis of a company's carbon footprint to identify emissions sources and quantify emissions – GHG Inventory as per The Green House Protocol
Carbon (GHG) Footprint Assessment is done by conducting a Resource Efficiency Audit also termed as an Eco Audit
The Eco Audit will help determine the Carbon(GHG) Emissions under Scope 1, 2, 3 ( as per Boundary defined) categories
Set the Emission Boundary Limit for the Audit
The Eco Audit will also help determine the present Resource Efficiency and help access the scope of reduction under each category
